Before you sew

This is the compatible 5mm and 7mm version. The MC12000 and other 9mm models use a different button foot. Follow the button-sewing instructions in your machine manual, including the feed-dog setting. Adjust the stitch to the hole spacing and turn the handwheel to confirm the needle enters both holes before sewing. This foot attaches buttons; it does not sew buttonholes.
