Janome DC3200: adjustable feeding for creative sewing
The Janome DC3200 brings together 30 built-in stitches, three one-step buttonholes and six levels of presser-foot pressure. It is a practical computerised machine for dressmaking, everyday repairs, craft sewing and patchwork.
The Easy Set Bobbin system simplifies bobbin loading, while the speed slider helps you sew at a comfortable pace. Six sewing feet and a hard cover are included, giving you tools for everyday seams, zips, hems and decorative finishes.
Adjust fabric feeding to suit the project
The pressure dial lets you change how firmly the foot holds the fabric. Six levels give you control for different fabrics and sewing techniques. The seven-piece feed dog system moves the fabric through the machine.
The extra-high foot lift helps when positioning thicker pieces. Choose suitable needles, thread and tension for the fabric, then test a sample before starting your seam.
Load the bobbin and start sewing
Drop the bobbin into its compartment and guide the thread through the Easy Set channel. For ordinary sewing, you can begin without manually pulling the bobbin thread up through the needle plate.
A built-in needle threader helps with the needle. LED lighting illuminates the work area. Needle-plate seam, cornering and angle guides help you position your stitching.
Choose a finish beyond a straight seam
The front stitch chart shows the 30 options. Explore everyday seams, appliqué, blind hemming, decorative stitches and buttonholes. Adjust stitch width up to 7 mm and length up to 5 mm on the backlit LCD.
Use the included overedge foot for edge finishing, the blind-hem foot for hems and the satin-stitch foot for decorative work. The automatic buttonhole foot works with three one-step buttonhole styles.
Keep your hands on the work
Use the start/stop button for pedal-free sewing and set the pace with the speed slider. A foot control is supplied if you prefer it. Needle up/down, reverse and lock-off buttons help you position and secure your stitching.
Remove the accessory compartment to expose the free arm for sleeves and trouser hems. Lower the feed dogs for free-motion work with a suitable optional foot. The carry handle and hard cover help with moving and storing the machine.

Frequently asked questions
What does adjustable foot pressure help with?
It changes the pressure holding the fabric against the feed dogs. This helps you tune fabric feeding for different materials and techniques. Start with the manual’s guidance and test an offcut of your project fabric.
What does Easy Set Bobbin mean?
It is a guided bobbin-loading system. Place the bobbin in the compartment and follow the thread channel. For ordinary sewing, you do not need to pull the bobbin thread up by hand before starting.
Can I sew without the foot pedal?
Yes. Use the start/stop button and speed slider. The foot control is included if you prefer pedal-operated sewing.
Is an extension table included?
No. The standard package includes a hard cover and six feet. An extension table is available as an optional accessory.
How does the DC3200 compare with the DC2150?
The DC3200 has 30 stitches, six pressure settings and Easy Set Bobbin loading. The DC2150 has 50 stitches and fixed foot pressure. Both have three one-step buttonhole styles. Choose the features that best suit your sewing projects.
Does it cut both threads automatically?
No. Use the manual cutter on the side of the machine to trim the threads after sewing.
Where can I see the machine features?
Read Janome’s DC3200 brochure. The included instruction book covers setup, stitches and care.
