Sew leather with a needle made for the job. SCHMETZ leather needles use a cutting point to penetrate the material and form the stitch.

Choosing the right option

Choose size 70/10, 90/14 or 100/16 from the selector. Select a size that suits the thickness of the leather and the thread. Check that your household machine accepts the selected needle size.

Before you use it

Test stitch length and tension on an offcut before sewing your project. Needle holes remain in leather, so check your seam placement carefully. Use an appropriate needle for woven or knitted fabric rather than a leather cutting point.
