Bobbin Winder Rubber Ring

A worn, cracked or flattened drive ring can stop the bobbin winder gripping properly. Replace it with the correct ring after checking the cause of the winding problem.

Before fitting

Match the ring to the original component and model parts list. Disconnect the machine before work. Follow the service instructions or arrange fitting with a technician if covers need to be removed.

Check the bobbin-winder engagement and thread path, then test that a bobbin winds evenly. A new ring will not resolve every bobbin-winder fault.
