This version is for compatible top-loading models up to 7mm stitch width. Front-loading and 9mm machines use different versions. Follow the foot instructions and test on spare fabric. This foot makes soft gathers; consider the correct ruffler attachment when you need more pronounced gathers or controlled pleats.
