Replace a damaged foot holder with the correct part for your machine. The holder connects a compatible clip-on presser foot to the presser bar.

Before you sew

Switch the machine off. Fit the holder with the correct screw, following the machine instructions. Attach the selected foot and check that it is secure.

Choose a stitch and width supported by the foot and machine. Turn the handwheel gently to check needle clearance before sewing.
