Sew knit fabrics with a needle designed to pass between the fibres. Janome ballpoint needles have a rounded tip to help reduce fabric damage.
Choosing the right option
Choose size 11 (75/11), part 990211000, or size 14 (90/14), part 990214000, from the selector. Use the finer size for lighter knits and the larger size for heavier fabric and thread.
Before you use it
Check the needle system and size range in your machine manual. These are household sewing machine needles. For overlocking, use them only when your machine specifies the same needle system. Fit a fresh needle and test on a scrap of your project fabric.
