Set your stitching distance

Turn the guide screw to set its position, then check the spacing on a sample.

Use the guide for edge stitching, hems and decorative rows. Guide the fabric gently rather than pushing it against the flange.

Before you sew

Fit the foot and check needle clearance by turning the handwheel slowly. Set your stitch and guide spacing on an offcut before sewing the finished piece.
