Janome Straight Stitch Foot

Give fabric more support around the needle when sewing a straight seam. The small needle opening helps control fine fabric and can reduce puckering and skipped stitches. The flat underside provides even pressure as the feed dogs move the fabric.

Before you sew

Select a straight stitch with the needle in the centre position. Turn the handwheel slowly to check that the needle clears the opening. Test the stitch length and tension on a scrap of your project fabric before sewing.
