SCHMETZ Wing Hemstitch Needle
Add delicate, openwork details to linen, cotton batiste and other suitable loosely woven fabrics. The wing-shaped blade moves fabric threads aside to form decorative holes. Use it for heirloom-style seams, lace details and hemstitch effects.

Before you sew
Use the appropriate zigzag needle plate and a suitable zigzag or satin-stitch foot. Thread the needle by hand. Select the recommended settings and turn the handwheel to check clearance through the full stitch pattern. Use stabiliser if needed and test on spare fabric.
