SCHMETZ ZWIHO Double Hemstitch Needle

Combine a decorative hemstitch effect with a second row of stitching. The ZWIHO pairs one wing needle with one universal needle on a single shank. It suits decorative work on loosely woven fabric, such as linen.

Machine suitability

For machines that permit this double hemstitch needle and provide sufficient foot and needle-plate clearance. Check your manual for twin-needle threading and the permitted stitch settings.

Before you sew

Use the appropriate zigzag needle plate and suitable foot. Use two upper threads and thread the needle eyes by hand. Select the permitted settings and turn the handwheel through the stitch pattern to check clearance. Test on spare fabric with suitable stabiliser before sewing your project.
